Welcome to the official website of the Haier 2011 New Zealand Road Relay Championships.  The event, to be held on September 3, 2011, is being hosted by Pakuranga Athletic Club Inc. on behalf of Athletics New Zealand.

We are both proud of and excited by the opportunity for our club to organise and host the most prestigious and best attended event on the Athletics New Zealand calendar.  An experienced and very hard-working team is aiming to host an event that, in the traditions of other Pakuranga hosted events such as the Sunfresh Half-Marathon and the Sir Barry Curtis 10k Classic, will both challenge and reward the competing athletes and their team managers, coaches and supporters.

This website will be constantly updated and will contain all relevant race information, health and safety information, race entry forms, race rules, course descriptions, maps and elevations, travel and accommodation information, catering information, social event information, links to our generous race sponsors and, once processed, team entries and race results.  There is also a contacts list if you have any queries or are seeking additional information.

If you don’t have enough athletes available to make up a full team, we can help you!  Contact David Harper - davidharper@vodafone.co.nz, 027 271 8423 or (09) 535 6258 – and he can help bring athletes or clubs together to enter Composite Grade teams.

Please note: Corporate team athletes entered in the event do NOT have to be members of athletic clubs.  The updated Race Entry Form and Corporate Summary Sheet cater for non-club athletes.  Corporate teams may also be graded to a higher standard (Club) grade if their estimated race times warrant it.
